Flex 2012: TECHNOLOGY REVIEW

FOCUS: Subject Area and/or Authorization Level Specific
The objective of this review is to help you to learn about different kinds of technology that are being effectively used in education, your subject area or authorization level. This review will hopefully help you to generate ideas for your Technology project – if you don’t already have one – so don’t forget to pay attention to specific tools that other educators have been using to generate, deliver, or communicate content to support or evaluate student learning. Also remember online, mobile, handheld learning are up and coming areas for teaching, so keep an open mind!

'What technology tools are being used to effectively teach, support learning, provide evidence of learning, create the learning community... in my content area?" [Rewrite this to fit your own focus/interest].

TASK OVERVIEW

1. Select & Review a minimum of SIX items and write them up in a Document..

2. Create a Stack/Scoop It page to present the summary of you Technology Review

3. Post your Annotated Bibliography document, with Stack or Scoop It link, to our blog & your PLE.

PART I. Annotated Bibliography: Read, Document, & Review

Using the Annotated Bibliography format [see table below], review at least 6 items from the following range of sources under the Review Checklist.

Note that there are some required sources but that some are your own choice

Use the Review checklist to ensure that you have met all elements of the assignment

Don’t forget to bookmark your resources in your Social Bookmarking account - i.e. Delicious.
