BLOGS

What is a weblog?
A weblog, more casually known as a blog, started out as a place where people could list links to pages they had read and some, if any comments on them.  Today blogs are a very universal tool that can be used for anything from an online filling cabinet for course work and reflections to an interactive classroom portal to the world.

Other Possible Uses:
  • Teacher journal
  • Storing Lesson plans with comments/reflections, or educational materials
  • Communication with parents [e.g. classroom news/resource blog]
  • Collaboration in class with students [e.g. class blog]
  • ePortfolio
